Overview
Docker provides an open platform for developing, shipping, and running applications. It allows fro separation of applications from infrastructure so that softwares can be delivered quickly. By taking advantage of Docker’s methodologies for shipping, testing, and deploying code quickly, the delay between writing code and running it in production can be reduced significantly.
