Overview

Red Hat System Administration II (RH134) is specifically designed for students who have completed Red Hat System Administration I (RH124). This course focuses on the key tasks needed to become a full time Linux administrator.

Students will be taught more advanced administrative topics, such as storage management using LVM, SELinux management, and automated installation. RH134 goes deeper into enterprise Linux administration including file systems and partitioning, logical volumes, SELinux, firewalling, and troubleshooting. After completing both Red Hat System Administration I and Red Hat System Administration II can help to prepare for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator exam (EX200).

Course Prerequisites
  • Have a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or equivalent experience.

Upon Completion of this Course, you will accomplish following:-

  • Understand the architecture and terminology of Ansible.
  • Deploy, install and run ad hoc commands in Ansible
  • Create Ansible plays and implement a playbook.
  • Manage inclusions and variables by understanding precedence and variable scope in a play.
  • Execute and monitor tags, handlers and task control in playbooks.
  • Configure Jinja2 templates
  • Define, execute and manage roles.
  • Use different delegations, parallelism and connection types for creating complex playbooks
  • Implement and manage encryption with Ansible Vault.
  • Troubleshoot managed nodes and control machine.
  • Install and configure Ansible Tower.
  • Use Vagrant for implementing Ansible in a DevOps setup.
